シンガポールの教育システム

シンガポールの教育システムは、複雑でわかりづらいとよく言われます。

ざっくり流れを説明すると、義務教育は初等教育6年＋中等教育4(−5)年間で、
義務教育期間の終盤に、Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education、
GCE O-levelと呼ばれる修了試験を受けます。

その後Junior CollegeやPolytechnics、Institute for Technical Educationに進学するか、
（中学5年生になるのも可能）、就職するかを選択します。
一般に3年間のシンガポールのJunior College修了間近にGCE A-levelを受験し、
大学へと進学します。
